Event Description: The earth goes through climate cycles regularly. These cycles are caused by changes in the earth's elliptical orbit and result in significant changes in earth's temperature. Since the industrial revolution, another phenomenon is super imposed to the regular orbital changes and is due to the recent anthropomorphic generation of greenhouse gases. For the first time, it is influencing the earth's climate. If left unchecked, global warming will lead to dramatic impacts to our way of life.
