Event Description: Careers aren’t what they used to be. Accelerating change, changing norms and increasing longevity mean that many of us experience many jobs in a lifetime, which is followed by a long, active retirement. Not surprisingly, many of us turn to community service for fulfillment. Richard LeBer’s diverse career reflects this trend. He has been a computer programmer, business consultant, sales executive, CEO of a large public company, entrepreneur, startup CEO, nonprofit board member and chairman, and is currently CEO of the Harry Chapin Food Bank. Drawing examples and insights from his experience, he will engage the audience in a lively conversation about America’s changing landscape, goals and how to engage in their community.
