Event Description: John Huston is known as a great director/scriptwriter who produced many classic films with lean, fast-paced scripts and characterizations. Films dealt with vanity, avarice and unfulfilled quests. In his films, nonconformists and misfits brave danger fatalistically. His resume includes films such as The Maltese Falcon, Treasure of the Sierra Madre, The African Queen, Prizzi's Honor and The Big Sleep.
