Event Description: This lecture presents the Genesis of the “Nuremberg War Crimes Trials.” It is a factual and critical review of who was tried and why, the sentences imposed, and the political dominance of the proceedings. This lecture brings to light the American interference in the post-trial actions. A complete discussion of the final legacy of the trials and why, in retrospect, most historians questions their validity.
