Event Description: The faculty of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Hodges University and the Southwest Florida Mental Health Association would like to invite you to our second annual half-day workshop focusing on working with children and adolescents. 8:00 – 8:30 a.m. Registration 8:30 a.m. - Play Therapy: Breaking Communication Barriers Megan Goddard, LCSW, RPT and Diana Salazar, LCSW, RPT 9:30a.m. - Freak…Loser…Bipolar…ADD… Queer: How Labels Affect Children’s Identity Silvia Casabianca, MA, LMHC, CTP, RM 10:30 a.m. - Adolescent Relationships: Counseling Teen Couples Ali Wolf, PhD, LMHC and Amber Pope, PhD, LMHC 11:30 a.m. - Gaining Momentum in Working with Hispanic Families and their Children Lourdes Araujo, MA Cost to Attend: Individual - $30 Student - $15 CEUs - $10 additional fee Mental Health Association of Southwest Florida will provide 4 CEUs for all mental health providers and psychologists (Provider # BAP-307 Exp. 3/17 approved by Board of Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy & Mental health Counseling through the Department of Business & Professional Regulations, State of Florida)
