Event Description: Why should donors support your cause? Developing a compelling, emotional connection is key to successful fund development. Learn how to tell your story in a way that is meaningful and represents your organization’s vision, mission and case for support—all while peaking donor interest. Effective organizational stories will be shared and participants will have an opportunity to fine-tune their stories. Coffee and registration 8:00 a.m.; program begins promptly at 8:30 and ends at 10:00 a.m. Speaker Bio: Robert C. Happy Jr., President of Averill Fundraising Solutions Inc. will lead a panel to include an organizational leader, a recipient of nonprofit services and a professional "story teller" who can offer a well-rounded set of experiences for program participants.
