Event Description: This talk discusses how a new chapter of international relations was written in Kosovo. Starting with ethnic cleansing and the NATO bombing campaign, Bruce Beardsley will take you from Macedonian refugee camps back into Kosovo, dealing with the refugee flow and the first years of rebuilding the society. In 1999-2000, Beardsley was the refugee coordinator in Kosovo, dealing with all aspects of the issues. He returned as an election supervisor for the first three elections held in the territory.
