This committee meets monthly to listen to issues facing our local government and the business community. Resolutions from these monthly meetings are passed to the Chamber Board of Directors for their approval and then issued to the proper governmental body. This committee also administrates the ChamberVOICE program. ChamberVOICE simplifies grassroots campaign efforts at the local, state and federal levels. This program can help connect supporters with
their elected officials and track campaign progress with real-time activity reports. The committee also participates in the annual "Lee County Days in
Tallahassee
" as well as supporting candidates forums and debates for local elections. The committee often requires a great deal of reading. Time investment for members is 2-3 hours per month.
