Event Description: Malt Shop Memories Cruise and RNE Present Richard Nader’s Doo Wop & Rock N’ Roll March 26, 2015 7:30 pm This all-star line-up of Rock N' Roll legends includes GENE CHANDLER who recorded “Duke Of Earl,” “Groovy Situation,” and “Nothing Can Stop Me Now”. Chandler still performs with his cape and top hat to the delight of audience members. “Duke Of Earl” was inducted in the Grammy Hall of Fame. The Capris, with original member Frank Reina, originated in Queens. The Capris will sing “Morse Code Of Love,” “There’s A Moon Out Tonight” and other favorites from the 60’s. DIAMOND DAVE SOMERVILLE ORIGINAL LEAD SINGER OF THE DIAMONDS is the voice heard on the Diamonds 16 Billboard hits, which include “Little Darlin’,” “Why Do Fools Fall In Love” and “The Stroll”. THE VOGUES hail from Pennsylvania.They placed 5 songs in the Top 40 including “Five O’clock World,” “Turn Around Look At Me” and “You’re The One”. Touring with group is original member Bill Burkett. TOMMY MARA AND THE CRESTS will sing “16 Candles,” “Cara Mia” and “Trouble In Paradise” along with other classic 60’s hits.
