Event Description: Hosted by 4 WORDS FOUNDATION, INC. and 21st CENTURY C.A.R.E., this 2nd Annual Racing for Cancer Causes Bed Race is once again being held at beautiful Cape Harbour Marina in Cape Coral, FL. This race shows our community support for those currently battling the disease, for the survivors, in memory of those we have lost and to thank our health care professional/caregivers for their help/support/caring they have given to our community, friends and family. 5-Member teams will race beds 100 yards against each other in an elimination match to help raise funds for cancer awareness, research, education and patient financial assistance for ALL cancers. Teams are encouraged to decorate their beds or their team members in a cancer color they wish to show their support for. Awards given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place race winners, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd bed/costume design winners. An award will also be given to the top fundraising team. Chance raffle tickets will also be available for some wonderful prizes!.
