Event Description: The objective of the 2015 Southwest Florida Sustainability Summit is to educate and promote sustainable practices for businesses and non-profit organizations. Topics can range from increasing awareness about “Going Green” to understanding sustainability concepts or encouraging a safe healthy workplace for employees. This summit offers attendees the opportunity to understand better ways in which they can implement best practices that produce a higher return on investment. All six Lee County mayors will be attending and you will have the opportunity to discuss the important issues affecting SWFL with them during facilitated discussion. MC Mei-Mei Chen will coordinate panels that include speakers from area top businesses, universities, and community organizations. See the website for full list of presenters. Tickets are $50 and includes breakfast and lunch. Cocktail hour begins at 4:30pm.
