Event Description: Beattie Development and its Team of Subcontractors, along with the Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral, Cape Coral Construction Industry Association, Cape Coral Board of Realtors and Big John's Cape Coral Town Center, will hold a community fundraiser to help provide medical care for James Rosso, a local 20-¬-year-¬-old who was hit by a pickup truck April 8th while jogging on Diplomat Parkway.

The "Cape Love" event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday May 12 at the center, 1213 Cape Coral Parkway East. There will be live entertainment, food, door prizes, raffles and a Chamber ribbon-¬-cutting for several businesses in the plaza: The Body Shop Ink, Vogue Hair Salon, Touch of Class Pet Groomers, South Cape Diner and Beattie Development Design Center.

As a fellow Cape Coral business, we ask you to join us in helping this fine young man who has been raised here in our community since he was 9 years old. He faces a long road to recovery and mounting medical bills. James' father, John, is a carpenter for Beattie Development and his mom, Tammy, has taken leave from her job to care for her son. The family is a member of St. Katharine Drexel Church.
