Event Description: Real Food Real Kitchens at Sundial Beach Resort & Spa Family, food, culture and history- these are the essence of the Real Food Real Kitchens television series that goes into the real kitchens of everyday people and explores their most cherished family recipes. The two episode screening features families preparing Triggerfish Chowder and Strawberry Shortcake as well as Roasted Chicken with Vegetables and Fried Green Tomatoes. After the screenings you're invited to meet producer Craig Chapman and sample the episodes' specialties recreated by our Sundial Beach Resort & Spa Executive Chef, Criss Menassa, recently voted the Best Chef on Sanibel & Captiva Islands. Tastings will also be offered by local vendors including Pinocchio's Original Italian Ice Cream, Point Ybel Brewing Company, Wicked Dolphin Rum Distillery and Lakeridge Winery. A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to the Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida, "Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope".
