Event Description: Guests First 2008 Customer Service

We invite you to participate in an interactive customer service training program. Your Host: Hampton Inn & Suites Location: 619 SE 47th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33904

Your Trainer: Mike Fischer, Tourism Education Manager, CHT Produced by: The Visitor & Convention Bureau (VCB)and the Tourist Development Council.

GUESTS FIRST WORKSHOP OVERVIEW: Date: September 15, 2008
Level I – 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Level II - 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Date: September 16, 2008
Level II – 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Level I – 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Choose either a Guests First Level I or Guests First Level II program,or attend both informative sessions.

GUESTS FIRST LEVEL I – Session topics include: o Community based customer service o First impressions in customer service o The power of words o Active listening to understand customer needs o Anticipating service needs o Resolving customer concerns o When ‘yes’ is not a service option GUESTS FIRST
LEVEL II – Session topics include: o A Skills Approach to Service o Applying age demographics to service efforts o Key communication points o Assessing personal service efforts o Alleviating personal stressors

COST: Free to tourism and hospitality employees.
