Event Description: It’s back and it’s better than ever.

Downtown Cape Coral’s popular Downtown Street Market has resumed for the busy second season and this year an estimated 80 artists and craftsmen will turn out each month to display their wares.

Just like an old-fashioned market tucked away on the side streets of villages across Europe, the Downtown Street Market attracts thousands of visitors and shoppers. They come to see everything from garden décor to luxury home furnishings, from unique handbags and wallets to antiques and turn-of-the-century style quilts, from homemade soaps and lotions to handcrafted gifts.

“It’s amazing how many talented artisans and interesting collectors we have in the area,” says Helen Ramey, marketing manager for the Downtown’s Community Redevelopment Agency. “It’s a fun way to spend a day and there is truly something for everyone.”

Classic cars will be on display courtesy of the 3 T’s Car Club and the band Tom’s Traveling Tunes will keep the crowds entertained with their lively music.

While in the area, stop in at the many one-of-a-kind stores, shops and restaurants that make their home in the district and enjoy the best of what only Downtown Cape Coral can offer.
