If you haven't booked complete weddings for your next party- you need to!! Their communication was on point throughout the whole process!
Dj Ravi was hands down the perfect choice for us! He turned our dance floor into a family-friendly rave and it couldn't have been more perfect!! He understood our wants for fun fun fun and he delivered! I don't care if it's a simply bbq party I throw next..he is the one to light any party up!!! His energy had even the quietest guests dancing!
Tom was a fantastic photographer!! I wished for more artistic photos and more photos of "awww" moments and he came through! I am so excited to see what he captured!
Ever have a photo booth?! You need to book it! Every guest has an absolute ball with it! Suzann helped get the photos and made us a wonderful scrapbook and Jeff designed the perfect photo strip!!!
Thank you complete wedding! You all really made our day so special!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Thank you so much, Laura & Ricky! Everybody had a wonderful time! We especially loved your sense of humor - especially the platypus on the cake and photo strips! Best, Martin.

My husband and I selected a destination wedding and had no clue where to start planning a beach wedding from the Pacific Northwest. After countless hours of research, we opted for vendors who could provide more than one service and as indicated by the company title, Complete Weddings + Events can do everything entertainment related.
Our Event Manger Arturo spent quite a bit of time consulting with us via email, phone and once in-person (we flew from Seattle to meet all of our vendors). Shout-out to Damon the General Manager for those homemade cookies he gave us during our in-person consultation!!
Arturo assembled a team that complimented my husband and I so well. My husband's family is mid-western (Italian-American )and mine is Caribbean-American, and I told Arturo straight up don't assign a DJ that doesn't know authentic Caribbean music. Arturo laughed and said "we got you.", and made sure we got DJ Marvin.
The following was covered by Complete Weddings & Events:
Lighting:
Tory:
What can I say, everything was in the right place to give a magical lavender effect.
DJ - DJ Marvin:
DJ Marvin was very polite. It started raining 30 minutes before our ceremony start time, and he offered to prop the door open to keep his equipment indoors, but have the ability to play outdoors if that's what we decided (then it started pouring, and we moved everything inside).
He checked in with me before each part on our agenda for the wedding to make sure things went smoothly. DJ Marvin not only knows Caribbean music but reads the crowd in a matter of seconds. He got my family up and jumping right away. Even my 86 year old grampa danced!!
He was so good, my husband danced, too! Miracle worker.
Drone - Steve (operator)
Did a fantastic job capturing our "first look/reveal" moments, as well as aerial view of the city. In fact, he did SO well that our final video looks almost like the ceremony was both indoors and outdoors.
Photographer - Tony
Bubble Machine - Tony (operator)
What can I say about Tony? This man is an artist. He has an eye for the perfect moment. I was shy about having a male photographer, but he was so polite I felt comfortable right away. The way he directed my husband and I, I think we came off as natural (which we expressed concern about because we are generally camera shy and awkward). Tony even capitalized on moments we didn't expect, such as the double-rainbow that came out right as our ceremony ended. Our day-of planner thought of a send-off up the elevator, and Tony accommodated. It was funny riding up and down for the right shot but boy did he capture it.
Videographer - Brennan
Brennan was professional, prompt and captured my sisters and my getting ready moments. He kept a straight face and focused as we joked, cursed and did what ladies do when dressing together. We apologized for being crass, and he chuckled and said it was fine and continued filming. He seemed to capture candid moments, and towards the end of getting ready, did some staged shots with my sisters and mom which was fun.
Finally, I'm not sure who put together our wedding video but it's so beautiful I cried watching it, and so did some of our friends and family AND a few family members have asked what songs were in the background. Full disclaimer: It takes a minimum of 12 weeks for the video, but its so worth the wait.
Arturo did a great job giving us monthly updates of progress from photo development to where we were in the queue for the final video edits.
Since we aren't from Miami, they even packaged the USBs for the photos and video so securely in magenta and lavender pouches. It's the small touches that really makes COMPLETE Weddings + Events Miami crew so wonderful.
I'd give them 10 stars if we weren't limited to 5.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Maki, we loved playing a part in your beautiful beach wedding! Those small touches are just as meaningful as the big picture. From the magical lighting to the right Caribbean music, our team was happy to bring that vision to life. That said, capturing moments may be part of the job, but making those memories with you is definitely one of the perks. Wishing you both happiness in the adventure ahead!
Best wishes,

I'm envious of everyone who was able to give this company a four and five star review because that is the opposite of my experience. First off, our DJ Adam was straight up terrible. He couldn't read his audience, he messed up the bridal party introduction song when we told him SPECIFICALLY which song we wanted the bridal party and us to walk into for the reception, he didn't come to ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding, he blamed one of my coordinators for a mistake HE made, he would cut songs short like for example EVERYONE at wedding was bummed when he didn't play the entirety of the cha cha slide, he was a mess all around. Second issue was our photographer Cher. My husband and I weren't terribly picky on what kind of photos we wanted. Honestly we just wanted her to take more natural shots than anything, but she kept making us do scripted shots. We really just wanted someone to take normal, natural shots of us and our guests but like I said she had us doing a lot of "scripted" shots. Not only that but she was kind of rude to not just me and my husband, but EVERYONE that day. She also kept referring to my husband and las "Bride" and "Groom" instead of our actual names which really bugged me. And when she came into the bridal suite to take shots of me, she kept moving all the furniture and my personal belongings around which really bugged me because l'm OCD about that kind of stuff. I had some really personal things layed out like a specific type of medication, but she and the videographer would just move that around without my consent. And she kept having me do the same weird shots over and over again and even asked me to re-put my dress on and I told I couldn't l'm on a time crunch. Even after shots with family members both my family and my husbands went "THAT'S who they hired for photography?" (We didn't, she was assigned to us). ALSO, when we decided to hire a photographer with complete events, when we payed for the photographer we thought we were paying for their service, as well as any prints we wanted afterwards. There was NO indication that we would have to pay for each individual print AFTER we already made the final payment to the photographer. We just got our online view of the photos the other day and each photo has a complete events watermark on it, and it literally says in order to get these prints without the watermark, you have to pay for it. Which is BS. Last issue was our coordinator Danielle. Though will say she was the most tolerable out of the DJ and Photographer. So first off, she smokes and if you hate cigarettes (like me), don't hire her. Sometimes she would get pretty close to me and I could smell the cigarettes and that really bothered me. (I even saw her keep her cigarettes and lighter in her binder). Anyway so I hired her thinking that she was going to be like the manger of the people from her company, thinking she would look after what the DJ and videographer do. But apparently her job was to look after EVERYTHING which I was not aware of upon hiring her, and didn't need her to do because I already had someone else doing that. Long story short she messed up a lot of things as well, like the order of speeches, when the father daughter dance was suppose to be, and my husband and I were suppose to exit the aisle after the ceremony with everyone blowing bubbles, but she didn't listen and asked me at the reception, when 80% of the people were gone, if I wanted to do the bubbles then. Don't recommend.

We used complete weddings for our wedding a couple weeks ago. Every person we worked with was AMAZING. I worked with Sarah in the office and she helped me with some planning and coordination of the vendors within the company. She was so friendly and great to work with!
Our videographer, Jay, was so easy to work with, and we got a lot of comments on how hard he was working the whole time without us even really noticing him. Were anxiously waiting for the final product!
We also used a photo booth from complete, and they were great! Everyone had a lot of fun with the photo booth and the props. We loved that they provide a photo book that guests can put a copy of the strip into and then sign. It was like an extra/more fun guestbook!
The one who really went above and beyond though was Alex, our DJ. We met with him the week of the wedding to go over details and some of what we wanted. The most comments I have gotten about the wedding have been about how INCREDIBLE the DJ was. Everyone loved him and said how fantastic he was and that they haven't had a DJ like that. For one, all of his announcements were short and funny. All of the songs played really fit the crowd and the energy. We also played a scavenger hunt game (his idea) where the bridal party ran through the crowd collecting things. It was honestly one of the most fun parts of the night and everyone was SO into it and the competition (we also received money without doing a dollar dance!). Alex even helped us by carrying our plates (we had a buffet) to our table, since we got stopped along the way by guests. I can not say enough things about how perfect his work was for us. I HIGHLY recommend him and all of the complete people!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Emily, sounds like the scavenger hunt was a hit! Alex knows how to get a crowd going -- a wedding isn't complete without that great energy. I'm glad Sarah was able to help cover all those small details so you could focus on the big picture. We bet the photos from the photo booth look fabulous, and we can't wait for you to see all moments Jay captured. Wishing you both happiness, and we'll be here if you need anything else.
