Pete's Fish & Chips

This place is to die for. The fish and chips are incredible and the Philly cheesesteaks blew me away. I come here every single week and am constantly impressed. Not to mention, just sitting down and eating so many people who try it for the first time are super complimentary and vow to return. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the environment is the perfect "mom and pop shop". The owner Jim has done an amazing job since taking over in July 2023. Cannot recommend enough!!

Mom raved about this place that used be just fish but she got the best Cheesesteak there! We both arrived before the line started and ordered regular sized cheesesteaks and a side of mozzarella sticks. Lovely counter staff was helpful and if you want to eat-in, there are a few tables. Regular size was plenty! Yummy!

First time here, it was just ok. Husband had the Philly cheesesteak which was good, I took a bite, we both like Wicked Good Deli in Ft Myers better. My fish was a little soggy lacking taste, fries were meh. If I came back it wouldn't be for the fish it would be for a Philly. Nice amount of tables inside. Canned or bottled drinks only + some bottled beer.

The food was very good. Staff was friendly and welcoming. 1st time eating there but woud definately go back or use take out.

Pete's fish and chips was an excellent dine-in dinner. A generous basket of steaming hot crispy fried fish and potatoes served with a side of house-made slaw and plenty of tartar or cocktail sauce - all delicious and enjoyed at the small (4 or 5 tables) dining area at Pete's. Based on the number of cheesesteaks carried-out while we ate our fish snd chips, we vowed to return to try them ourselves. A few days later, we returned and Wow! Pete's cheesesteak sandwiches are da bomb. The meats, cheeses and toppings are chopped so that every bite delivers all the flavors. The amoroso rolls are a perfect delivery system for these excellent sandwiches, as they are sturdy enough to contain the filling and they travel well enough to allow you to experience their perfection whether dining in or out. Pete's is a winner.

Great alternative to da fast food burger , every was hot and fresh will definitely be back!!!

Such a clean and friendly restaurant!! Cod is amazing, with good size portions and quality. Service was quick and food came out FRESH and not over cooked.

The cook and a customer spent the entire time ranting far right nonsense very loudly. No thought or consideration was given to anyone else in the place (and I quote, "...It's too bad we can't grind all the democrats up into meat and make some use of them...") The verbal garbage spewed was vulgar and mind-numbingly stupid. Also, the food was nothing more than mediocre: The batter was bland and too thick, and the fish was soggy and over fried. Obviously, we will not be back.
Shame on you.

We are visiting the area and got excited to see an authentic fish and chips restaurant. Pete's was all that and more!!! The staff was courteous and welcoming. The food was amazingly delicious! I highly recommend Pete's!

This place is a truly a must visit. Traditional English style fish sandwich (or platter) with the best tasting chips in town. Efficient, consistent, friendly place to eat in, or carry out. Must try
